For those of you who’ve put in the work over the last 5 weeks and then retested we saw some pretty great PRs this week! Yes, I know it’s a tough time with the holidays and the stress and the the food and and and… But we’ve seen athletes get faster, build new skills, and get stronger all in a shortened training cycle due to consistency and hard work. Amazing job!

While yesterday’s WOD had a lot of good PRs I wanted to specifically point out the BIG improvements that Jerry and Abby made to their scores: Not only did each improve from our initial test week but Jerry hit 5 power Snatches at 165 (a weight he couldn’t even power snatch a year ago during The Open) and Abby hit multiples of the 100lb Snatch a weight she was stalled at as her 1RM for months over the summer. Two experienced athletes making gains through dedication and work. Great Job!

2013 Holiday Part – is next Saturday the 28th at 7PM. We’ve got a sign up sheet next to the Ohio t-shirts on the small side. Please sign up so we’ve got a rough count of who is coming – we’ll be catering a main course and some sides and we’re asking that you guys bring some desserts and drinks and whatnot.

Holiday Schedule
Each of these times is Open Gym. We will have a WOD programmed for each day but there will be no formal warm up or requirement to do that WOD. Tuesday the 24th is when we’ll program the 12 Days of Christmas WOD but you’d be welcome to do it any of the days/times.
