Over the weekend many of you tackled a hard 10 minutes of what seemed like an eternity of box jumps. Admittedly this was not a great WOD for MTM – we don’t train high rep rebounding box jumps regularly and the corresponding moves (like running) haven’t been big recently either. As a team we slipped a little to 47th place – 3 More workouts, more than half the competition, still left!
Jerry did great in the masters division moving up 8 places to 31st. Top 20 worldwide go directly to the games.

For the Snatch Pulls:
This is the first of the new movements we’re introducing in our new cycle.
The purpose of this pull is to put more weight on than you can currently make in a snatch and jump the bar as high as you can without concern for making the lift.
You see here that the bar is deadlifted, scooped, and finished with as powerful a jump shrug as possible making sure to hit full extension.
Though we’re doing 3 reps the bar returns each time to the ground and the athlete completely resets, it’s not touch and go.
