FREE Class Saturday 11AM – April Beginner’s Start Monday – time to get fit for the summer!
I could not be more proud of the athletes who came in yesterday and put up weights they thought they couldn’t! New 1RM PRs that were repped over and over and over. Awesome!
Nutrition Challenge Results – Michelle was the overall winner! Congrats Michelle!
A quick note about this past challenge. It was long, complicated with points, allowed for experimentation and disparate goals, and expensive. Lots of people started this challenge unofficially – that is without paying. Only a handful of people paid and competed.
Consider this: of those that invested the money to start all but 2 completed the challenge with enough points to get their money back. It was routine for challenge participants to lose 10 lbs. Joslin lost 2 pant sizes. Results were basically awesome.
It’s not a money maker for MTM requiring a sign up fee, in fact after all is said and done we’ll have lost about $50, but that’s well worth it to hear such wonderful progress! We’ll have another challenge coming up around the start of May.

Person 1 completes the round then rests while person 2 completes it – 4 rounds by each person.
Defending Women’s Champion Annie Thorisdottir is out of The Open. CrossFit can invite her to participate in Regionals or The Games if they want, and I imagine they will, but it’s not clear what will happen yet.
